Certified Organic Salmon is farm raised in a low-density environment with a maximum of 1% fish to 99% water. Low-density, combined with the strong coastal currents, ensure vigorous exercise - giving the salmon firm muscle formation, clean flavor and low-fat content.
To ensure the highest Organic standards are maintained, all farm operations as well as the farm's surrounding environment are audited annually. Sites used for organic farming are fallowed (uncultivated) for a minimum of 4 months after the site is harvested - compared to 2 months for conventional sites.
The salmon are fed a diet free of GMOs, which contains only the purest all organic ingredients, natural pigments and marine content from sustainable fisheries.
